Drumlerhof

The hotel runs a great activity program, with most things free for guests. In winter, there are guided snowshoe hikes and ski technique lessons with the local ski school, plus easy access to the skibus and other local buses. It’s in a lovely little town, and the food, service, and room comfort were all excellent.

The food was superb, and there are comfortable lounge spaces and a bar for drinks. It’s a lovely family run hotel with helpful, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. There’s also a rooftop hot tub and a covered pool overlooking the mountains.

We felt like part of the family during our stay, and we're already planning to come back. My husband and I were sent to Drumlerhoff by our elopement photographer, Eline (@northwindselopments), because he needs gluten and dairy free food. Travel is usually difficult and labor intensive for us, but the family and team here made it easy. They were attentive and caring, and each meal had several delicious options. Our server, Enrico, explained what was available and how dishes could be adjusted for my husband's needs. Emma, a manager, also arranged a wonderful picnic lunch for our photoshoot: hummus, salmon, beef tartar, buckwheat salad, dessert, and local sparkling wine. When we returned to the room, we found it decorated to celebrate our marriage. The pool, saunas, and hot tub were refreshing after our strenuous hikes. The accommodations and care really impressed us. You can tell this is a family business run with a lot of passion, and I can't recommend it enough to anyone visiting the area.

The free local buses make getting around really convenient. It's a very nice hotel, with friendly, helpful staff and excellent food on the half board plan.
