Mr. Antonio, the friendly and helpful owner, brought breakfast to the room. The rooms are spacious and furnished with 19th-century pieces, in a historic building on Campobasso’s main street. Highly recommended!

The price was good: €150 for three nights booked through Booking.com. The free Wi-Fi worked, though it wasn’t very fast. Breakfast was served in the room at the agreed time, but it was quite basic, just a croissant and coffee, tea, or cappuccino. I love espresso, though the coffee provided was made in a moka pot. The owner lives in the apartment and was kind and accommodating from the first calls to arrange check-in right through departure, making an effort to meet my needs. My first-floor room was comfortable, elegant, and well furnished, but there’s no elevator. It had a TV, a desk and chair, wardrobes, and a breakfast table on the small veranda. There was also a fireplace I didn’t use, but it looked real and well maintained. The bathroom was comfortable, with a hairdryer, electric heater, shower gel, shampoo, and liquid soap.

The owner’s simple, friendly manner makes you feel welcome right away, which isn’t something you can take for granted. It’s a great place for a quiet, welcoming stay. The spaces were well laid out, and the bed was very comfortable and, above all, clean. Well done!

The owners were genuinely kind and helpful, real gentlemen. The rooms are stunning, with quality antique furnishings, and the location is strategic, right in the center of Campobasso. Highly recommended!
