B&B Da Matì

The rooms were comfortable and breakfast was good. Still, I expected something more modern: there was no internet, and the television wasn't great. You can definitely feel the Italian climate there.

A z

The room was simple, just right for a B&B, and everything was in its place. We even had a drying rack for beach things or laundry, which is handy when you're travelling and stopping for only a day. Breakfast was generous, with fresh croissants the husband had picked up from a local dairy. His wife was so kind and let us take an untouched croissant for our son to have mid-morning. We only stayed one night and arrived early. Although they had said it wouldn't be possible because nobody would be there to greet us, they still helped us get in by phone. They opened the main door remotely and handled check-in over the phone, checking our documents and reservation codes to make sure we were expected. Very professional, more so than at some five-star places. Breakfast had a lovely, relaxed feel, and they told us about their other B&B holiday home in Mazara del Vallo. We came across this place by chance and would book again straight away if we returned to the area. I recommend it to everyone.

Breakfast was varied, tasty, and plentiful, and the owners were kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about places to visit and local attractions. My wife, our twelve-year-old son, and I spent eleven days at Matì's in August 2017 and felt right at home. The room was spotless, well equipped, and had everything we needed. We highly recommend it!
