Our children went from learning to ski to confidently tackling red runs by the third or fourth day, which we honestly hadn’t expected. People around the area were patient and warm with them, and the whole setting felt made for families. That’s part of why this became one of our most memorable trips, and we’d happily come back to the Dolomites with a family planning a ski holiday. Thank you to the whole family for making it so special. The owners, Melanie and Mateo, and their family are involved in everything, from check-in and breakfast to helping guests and sorting out problems. They remembered our kids by the second morning and chatted with them; it felt like being welcomed into someone’s home. The staff worked hard and stayed kind and attentive. The location made ski days simple. The lift is right outside, and the ski room is only steps from the rooms, with organized storage, boot dryers, and glove dryers so our equipment was warm in the morning. We had our own outside entrance, so the kids could head straight to the slopes. There’s also a bus stop nearby and a very good restaurant about 30 seconds away. We never had to walk through town in ski boots, which was priceless with children. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful, and clearly made with care, something we looked forward to after skiing. When the shower had a small issue one day, it was fixed almost immediately, without waiting or excuses. We travel quite a bit, but staying here felt like being part of a small mountain community for a week rather than just staying at a hotel.

Getting to the gondola was easy, just a two-minute walk through a private passage, and the ski room was well organized with lockers and boot warmers. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed, including the bonus of a washing machine. Check-in was straightforward even after hours, thanks to clear instructions, and the team looking after the property were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout. We had a great stay in the Mountain View apartment and would gladly return. Highly recommended for a visit to Canazei.

The room was clean and comfortable, and we were very happy with the stay at cesa plenbar during ski season. The hosts were warm and attentive, and quickly helped me when I had a problem with my rental gear. It’s well placed for both the lift and the town.

When our car wouldn’t start after sitting in the cold for a week, the staff came over quickly and helped us get it going. They were so kind and helpful throughout, and even let us check in early when we arrived. The apartment was neat and clean. Fantastic service, and we’d be glad to come back.
