The positives were a good-sized room, a nice big bathroom, a good balcony, and a pretty good spa. The food was appalling. The evening buffet didn't seem to be replenished, so you had to be quick, and I ate out 3 of the 7 nights because it was so bad. We stayed last week for skiing after our group of 62, booked 9 months before, was moved here from its sister hotel in town due to an 'overbooking'. The manager, Lorenzo, was simply the rudest person I've seen in a hotel. We asked for an itemised bill, and he walked away, muttering a bad swear word about my friend. We understood Italian swear words, pointed it out to the receptionist, and then he ran and hid in his office. He should never work in a hotel. The location also meant very little Apres unless you stayed in town.

The spa is good, and both the steam room and sauna work well. Rooms are okay for a 3 star, and you won't spend most of your time in them if you're out skiing. If you're wearing ski boots, you'll need a bus to get into town.

The pictures and the place you get in reality are very different. The rooms are small, and the food was the worst we've had in an Italian hotel in 6 years of winter holidays in Italy. The cold buffet was half empty and the choice was limited. You can smell cigarettes in the hall.

The food was good and plentiful, though a little heavy on meat. I only had minor disturbance from the nightclub, and it was people shouting on their way back into town as they left, rather than the music. I stayed on a TUI/Crystal ski package. You couldn't ask for much more, provided you leave your skis at the rental place and walk back from the lift instead of trying to get on the bus. Great hotel overall, and I'd return.

We were moved 3 times at meals, and the hotel felt like faulty towers. Yesterday we asked the manager if he could put ruby on, and found out he doesn't like English. You have to pay 12 euros for the pool and 9 euros for the bus, while most places are free if you have a lift pass. The hotel is too far out, and everything in town finishes at 6, so you need a taxi back. This is not the best hotel I've stayed in with crystal holidays.
