The warm welcome from the receptionist made a great first impression. She was really helpful and even sorted out a parking spot for us. We visited in April, though, so I’m not sure that would be available in peak season. Our newly renovated studio was cozy and comfortable, and the customer service was 10/10.

The two-bedroom apartment at Residence Contrin was clean and roomy. The bathroom stood out, it had clearly been renovated and looked both modern and practical.

We used Canazei as our base for a few days of via ferrata. It’s an excellent town for that, with easy access to both the mountains and the centre. Our self-catering apartment was well equipped and had a balcony with mountain views, and the staff were friendly. Parking was the one small drawback: spaces were limited, and you could risk a fine by parking in the wrong spot. We were there in mid-August.

We had no trouble with the utilities or amenities, and both the kitchen and heater worked fine. The staff were friendly, and there’s a basement area for storing winter gear. For parking, you get a coupon covering the number of days you stay. You can park behind the building or use another lot a few minutes’ walk from the units. A great place for a winter stay.

You can walk to the centre of Canazei from this quiet residence, and it’s close to the Belvedere lift. The apartments are in good condition, with breakfast options and a ski locker available.
