Park Hotel Italia

We liked the peaceful village and the lakeside walk so much that we stayed an extra night, taking it from our time in Milan. The village is quaint and easy to explore on foot, and there's a lovely gelato place about a 10-minute walk along the waterfront. At the hotel, we enjoyed the spa, a wonderful breakfast, and an amazing dinner in the restaurant. Park Italia Hotel was a gem, and Lake Maggiore is every bit as nice as Lake Como. We'd been spending a few days near Como before deciding to visit Maggiore too, and were glad we chose to stay here.

The reception team was always ready to help, and everyone on staff was friendly, attentive, and keen to make sure I had what I needed. I slept really well in the comfortable bed, and appreciated how cozy the room felt. Breakfast had a delightful selection, and the restaurant's lake view made things feel especially peaceful. We came back for a second visit within a few months because our first holiday here was simply gorgeous. The house is modern, tastefully furnished, and very comfortable, and the staff are attentive. On both visits the electric car charger was broken, and this time the room wasn't cleaned very thoroughly. Even so, it was close to perfect overall.

We hadn't planned where to stay while driving through, so ending up here was lucky. They let us check out late, which meant we could enjoy most of the day without rushing, and parking is free and private. For a drink, the bar has great views, and if you have time, take the boat tour from their own dock on the old Italian boat. Breakfast was a highlight for me, especially the honey, which took me back to my childhood in Turkey. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious, and you can watch the sunrise from the balcony. Everyone, from the front desk to the bar, went out of their way to make us happy. I've traveled all over Europe, the US, and Asia, and places like this still blow me away. It's hard to know where to start, but the views, the care, and the value all made us want to return. We stopped here on the drive from Zurich to Milan and were so glad we did. Grazie Mille.
