The pool was a real plus: large, clean, and kept at 29°C. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty to choose from, including different milks, bacon, eggs, sausage, mushrooms, tomato, yoghurt, crunchy muesli, croissants, and chocolate pie. The hotel was clean, and for €88 for two people for one night, I thought it was well worth four stars. The gym is small, though it’s enough for a basic workout, with dumbbells up to 22 kg. Sauna, hammam, and steam room are available for an extra charge. Check-in and check-out times were standard. Since we arrived early, staff did their best to get our room ready ahead of time, and we got in at 1:50 p.m. Hotels, food, and gyms, follow me for tips and hidden gems around the world.
The pool area has been renovated, and the comfortable loungers made it a highlight of our stay. The hotel’s location is great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. English wasn’t fluent for everyone, though, so communicating could sometimes be tricky. Our room was spacious and comfortable, but the hotel feels dated and could use renovation. Even the room doors still have traditional keys with very heavy keychains instead of keycards. It was a pleasant stay, but the updates would help it meet today’s four-star standards.
We had a balcony room with a table and chairs, looking out onto the clean pool in the garden. There were loungers around it and a jacuzzi in one corner. The room itself was clean and good, with a TV and fridge. The staff were kind and helpful. There’s also a spa with massages and a sauna, plus a gym.
I found this hotel dirty and smelly, with rude service. There was no parking for a luxury car, either. It’s the worst place I’ve ever stayed. For heaven’s sake, don’t book it.
The pool was the only good part. The rooms felt old and dusty, nowhere near four-star standard, and breakfast was very bland. I won’t come back. I’m giving one star even though the younger reception staff tried to fix things, because the whole situation ruined our stay. We arrived exhausted at 8 p.m. after a long drive from Cagliari, with a large-bed room booked for two nights. At check-in, an older blonde woman at reception was extremely rude and unprofessional. She said the hotel was full the next day and that we had a large bed for only one night, so we’d have to move to a room with two single beds in the morning. We told her our booking on booking was for a large bed for both nights, but she shouted at us. It felt like the hotel was so understaffed they’d hired her just to fill a spot. After an hour of arguing, we gave up and took the room, since it wasn’t refundable. The next morning, we went to reception to hand over the keys and change rooms. Two younger women were there. They said they’d managed to accommodate us, and that although we’d need to move, the room was already ready and had a large bed. We were relieved, then realized the older woman had lied about the hotel being full. I didn’t see her again, and I hope they fired her. She clearly has no idea how to work in hospitality.
