Le Maree Apartments

The gardens were nicely done and the bathroom was good, but a few things were inconvenient. Internet was very poor, we had to make the beds ourselves, and there wasn’t any toilet paper in the apartment. Check-in was unclear because we received no instructions, though calling the host got things sorted. We also didn’t expect the main room and bedroom to lack full separation: the wall is open at the top, so there’s little privacy. The place was alright overall.

The view is truly amazing, and the layout is spacious, but the apartment needs more attention and a personal touch. We arrived to broken car-window glass in the parking area, an unsettling sight after we’d just had a car break-in ourselves. We also had to make our own beds and found there was no duvet cover. That was fixed the next day, but making the beds for guests would have avoided it. The mattress cover also didn’t seem properly cleaned. The living-room blind had no curtain cord, so rolling it up meant wobbling on a chair. A shower light was broken, making it rather dark. And during Covid, finding both bathroom soap dispensers empty was hard to understand. Those basic supplies should have been there.

The apartment was nice and had two gardens. Everything was okay, but the internet didn’t work and there was a garlic smell left by previous residents. For those reasons, the price felt high.

A really great place, with a lovely sea view and close to everything. We’d love to return!
