Villaggio Camping Golfo di Arzachena

We camped in a tent for a week, and it felt like home in Sardinia. Our plot was well looked after, with trees giving us shade during the day, and the campground and facilities were well maintained. The pool was large and clean, with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. For our simple needs, the facilities were just right: hot showers, several bathrooms, sinks for dishes and laundry, plus a washing machine. We could hang clothes to dry outside our campsite. Reception staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and the restaurant team was great, with prompt, friendly service. We liked the pizza and enjoyed our morning coffee outside at one of the many tables each day. We're sad to leave, and grateful to everyone who made our stay so lovely. If we get to visit Sardinia again, we hope we can stay here. Grazie mille a tutti!!!! 😊

The area was filthy and smelled awful when I arrived, and the photos show how bad it was. For 15 euros, all I could do was empty the chemical toilet and refill fresh water. There was no greywater to dispose of, which is unusual. When I politely asked about the state of the place, I got a dismissive answer that it might just be like that or that another camper had caused it. The drainage pipe was only up to 10 cm across, instead of the usual 25 cm needed for this, which seems like a clear reason for the frequent blockages. Reception was just as poor, with disinterested staff, and the place was nearly empty. It felt like they were just taking money from campers who needed the service, without providing anything for the fee. This so-called camper service area is wildly overpriced and in such bad condition it can ruin your mood. Stay away.

We booked for 4d3night and were happy with our studio, which had a microwave, a medium-sized fridge, and a view of the ocean and city. The location was perfectly quiet, the balcony was big, and the pool was clean. We'd definitely come back. The bed wasn't comfortable, though, and the fridge was very noisy. It would be perfect if they added somewhere to do laundry.

We had a good stay, with friendly, helpful staff and not many rules at the camping. The places had enough shade, and the beach was a one-minute drive away. The pool is average-sized but roomy enough, and it was never very busy; Wi-Fi was a bit weak, though it worked fine around the pool. Free Wi-Fi is always a plus :). The cocktails and pizzas were delicious and reasonably priced, too.
