The place felt like home, and it’s just a minute’s walk from the center. It was too cold at night because the heater wasn’t working, but I’ll definitely come back and stay here.

The only small annoyance was the old narrow style of most power sockets. We had to move the coffee maker into the bathroom to use it. If the owners sorted that out, the room would be perfect. I liked it a lot and would stay again: the bed was fine, the shower was hot and strong, and the facilities were good. We spent a week here in June, which may be just the right season for Cannobio. Our top-floor room was bright and airy, and the balcony was a lovely sunny place to sit and take in the views. I’d worried about mosquitoes, but there weren’t any, and the heat was fine even right under the roof.

We spent two lovely nights on a short break at Casa Cannobio. The simple furnishings had plenty of charm, and there was even a coffee machine. The apartment stayed nice and warm despite the cold weather. Thanks, we’ll be back! :-)
