Laura and Marco, the landlords, are very friendly and glad to answer questions. There's a nice path about 100 meters below the apartments, to the right of the small parking lot, for short dog walks. The complex is just outside the center by the river. From the apartment you can glimpse the lake through the trees, while the mountain view is beautiful. Apartment 101 has two bedrooms and a living room; it was clean and in good condition, with two private terraces and a small garden. Parking is available in the underground garage or lot, and free bikes can be borrowed. All apartments can use a free washing machine. The kitchen has a dishwasher, ceramic hob stove, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster, but no oven. The bathroom is large and modern, though counter space is limited, with no shelves or towel hooks. Heating and air conditioning are provided. Bed linen and towels can be booked separately. These apartments are inexpensive, so don't expect luxury, but they have everything you need.

The owners made us feel welcome straight away with sparkling wine and mineral water. We loved the apartment, too: it had everything we needed, three balconies, and a lovely view. The promenade was an easy walk away, and the price felt fantastic for what we got. We had such a good holiday and will definitely return.

We’ve stayed in apartment 203 three times now, and we’re still delighted with it. Nicole and Alberto are wonderful hosts. We’d happily come back again.

The town center was easy to reach on foot or on the bicycles provided, with plenty of good shops and restaurants. Our apartment had everything we needed, including a coffee maker, dishwasher, kettle, and washing machine in the basement. Two of its three balconies looked out over Cannobio and the lake. We had a lovely holiday; a few more cushions for the patio chairs would have been nice.
