Masseria Asteri Resort

There’s a lovely little pool for a relaxing dip when you get back tired, and comfortable sofas and loungers for sitting out and looking at the stars. The masseria has a peaceful, beautiful feel, as if you’ve gone back in time. It’s rustic, but restored with all the comforts.

Breakfast being served at a bar instead of on the property was a shame, so I’ve taken off a star for the service. Otherwise, our short stay was lovely. The place is quiet and peaceful, close to beautiful seaside resorts, and the rooms are well kept and spotlessly clean. There’s a small shared pool in the big courtyard, which is convenient when there aren’t many guests. A very nice, welcoming property.

We spent two nights here with our three-year-old son, and everything was perfect. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, had an extra crib, and included a refrigerator. As soon as you pass through the gate, you’re in a peaceful oasis that feels like stepping back in time. Staying in this historic masseria was unforgettable. A wonderful experience in Salento, highly recommended!

Breakfast is served at a bar in the village, just a few meters from the masseria. The owner was helpful and very accommodating. The room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. A very pretty masseria near Otranto. I highly recommend it!
