Appartamento Roberta

This year was different from our usual great stays. The attic apartment was nice, but it got so hot it was almost impossible to breathe. We tried adjusting the fridge temperature up and down as the agency suggested, but nothing changed, and we ended up throwing out a lot of food. The pool was so crowded during the day that we hardly used it. Some people left towels on loungers to keep them for themselves, then stayed by the pool all day instead of going to the beach. I'd recommend checking the apartments more carefully and finding a way to limit pool use to one session per person, so guests who pay for access can actually use it.

Someone clearly didn't think things through when putting this accommodation together. The shower is a makeshift setup, with a rusty screw where there should be a lever faucet. The mattresses were disastrous, soft as a sore thumb, and the wardrobes are absurdly high. I'd need to be about two and a half meters tall to reach them and hang up a coat hanger. There's not a single electrical outlet in the kitchen, the light switches are spaced absurdly far apart, and the washing machine only works when it feels like it.

The apartment was quiet, and the pool was nice and clean, but quite a few things let us down. The shelves and kitchen handles hadn't been cleaned properly, the mattresses were awful quality except for the sofa bed, and the kitchen had very little equipment. We rented the linens, but thought the price included a bidet towel and a shower mat to stop slipping. For what we got, the price was high, especially considering the beds. We came back with back pain, and it ruined our mini vacation.

The apartments are clean and have the essentials, and both the beach and the center are easy to reach on foot. The only downside was some street noise in the units facing the road. Otherwise, we were satisfied.
