The breakfast was wonderfully generous, and our room was immaculately clean, with a classic Italian look and a brand-new bathroom. The Hotel Erika family know how to make guests feel welcome. They greeted us with big smiles and did everything they could to help. The location is very convenient, though parking can be difficult. They offer access to a covered parking lot for €10 a day, and beach service and bicycles are included in the stay. All the staff were so kind and cheerful. Thank you for giving us such a lovely holiday in Caorle.

The beach is conveniently close, and our basic room was clean. What made the stay unpleasant was how consistently rude the hotel owners were. Checkout at 9:30 a.m. is also extremely early, and the cleaning staff even tried to come into our room at 8:50.

I'd booked five days at Hotel Erika through booking.com, but when I arrived to check in, I told the kind lady that unexpected work circumstances meant I had to leave a day early. After a long conversation, I explained the change to her and the hotel owner, and she understood and agreed. At checkout, the lady wasn't there. Her son was very insistent that I pay for the extra day, saying he hadn't managed to sell the room to anyone else and that I had to pay, despite the arrangement I'd made with her. I found that unprofessional and won't be coming back.
