Hotel Giacomazzo

The owner and staff were professional, attentive, and very helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the beachfront location was perfect. Parking, sun loungers, and an umbrella were included. Congratulations!

The cook, cleaners, and woman at the bar were the one bright spot. They were friendly and did their best to improve the mood. The rest of our stay was the least pleasant hotel experience we've had, and we won't return or recommend it. The siblings who run the place seemed surly and unwelcoming when we arrived. They appeared annoyed when we asked to eat breakfast outside. Breakfast itself was miserable, just dry bread and cold eggs. The room was old, yellowed, and unattractive, with the hardest beds we've ever slept in. The air conditioning barely worked, and although we were promised a sea view from the terrace, a wall about 1.5 meters high blocked most of the view. We tried to leave early, but got no reply to our request. It was hard to reach the reception staff, and whenever we did, their tone felt cold and unprofessional.

We had a really pleasant stay at Hotel Giacomazzo in Caorle. It's a simple, clean place with very spacious rooms, good food, and lovely owners who made us feel at home. The beach is right in front, with no road to cross, and it was clean and orderly. It's wide enough for lots of people without feeling crowded or uncomfortable. The hotel is also close to the historic center, the bus stop, the little harbor, and the big Saturday market. Boats leave from the harbor for lagoon tours or trips to Venice. There are shops and places to eat right nearby.

We stayed in a sea-view room from August 7 to 14, 2022, and never found ourselves short of anything. The hotel looks a little dated, but it has all the comforts and works well for couples or families wanting a relaxing break. It's by the sea and only a few steps from the center. Everyone was very friendly. The owner even parked our car in a nearby lot when we arrived. The waitress was the standout for us, always kind and helpful, especially with children, and attentive to what each guest needed.
