Hotel Marzia Holiday Queen

The apartment was great, clean, new, and well equipped. The staff were nice too.

We booked five days over the June 2nd holiday period and had full board. Our room had a sea view, and the hotel was clean and very well kept. The food was excellent and plentiful. With the private beach, umbrella and sun loungers, covered parking inside, and a swimming pool, we had everything we needed for a holiday.

Breakfast was excellent, though I'd suggest having something for guests with lactose intolerance. Maybe it needs to be requested in advance, but a carton of soy milk shouldn't go bad. The food was good, and our room had a great view in an excellent location. For the price, the pool and the included umbrella and two loungers were a very good deal. There were some things that need attention. We found dog hair from the previous guest on the sofa. Maybe the room had been turned around in a hurry, but it needs checking for new arrivals. Dinner runs from 7 to 8 PM, and the buffet wasn't refilled. If you came at 7, you could serve yourself from a good selection, but later arrivals got what was left. It's no fun to rush back from the beach early just to get dinner, and guests shouldn't feel hurried on vacation. There wasn't much smiling, and I didn't appreciate hearing a few arguments between the employer and a worker. The employer was unfriendly. I understand there can be stress, but I won't go into detail. I also felt there was too much haste in everything. A bit more calm would help. Long waits aren't nice, but neither is being rushed. There's potential here. It just needs more attention and passion.

The beach is only 10 meters from the hotel, and it was included in the price. My husband and I had half-board with dinner, ate well, and found the staff helpful and courteous. Our modern, welcoming room had all the comforts and was spotlessly clean. The private parking was convenient too. We had a great time at this hotel in the heart of Caorle.
