A good spot if you're travelling with kids, since there's plenty of room by the shore and you don't have to pay for an umbrella or similar. There are a couple of beach bars with everything you might need, though they aren't the best run.
It's a quiet area without much traffic, and the sea is about a 10-minute walk away. You can choose the private beach or the free one. The pool is big enough, the kitchen is well equipped, and the air conditioning works throughout the apartment, though there's just one unit for the whole place. Really well suited to a stay with kids.
We came with the children four years in a row and have enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly, and the accommodation is generally good. It hasn't always been very clean, though I noticed an improvement in 2017. The beach is close and small, but big enough. There's a minimarket with almost decent prices, an Aliper supermarket nearby, and a farm selling fresh fruit and vegetables about 1 km away, which is fantastic for us as vegetarians. It's a quiet place that I'd mostly recommend for families. There are a few restaurants and shops on site, okay but not the best, and the entertainment is mediocre and aimed at children. The garbage trucks are extremely noisy and wake you every day between 7 and 8, which I find stupid. WiFi is available, but getting it in your apartment depends on luck.
The setting is lovely, with lots of playgrounds, walking areas, and things for children to do, and the area is quite clean. We liked the train to the beach, the pool, coffee at the restaurant, and the nearby market, which had everything we needed, including cooked food like fried chicken, potatoes, and pork. Having two bathrooms was handy. In the evenings there were lots of mosquitoes. WLAN only worked in the common area near the agency office, not in the apartment. The apartment wasn't dirty, but it didn't seem very well kept. We'd booked for seven people: a king-size bed and a single in one bedroom, two singles in the other, and a downstairs sofa bed for two. That sofa wasn't very comfortable to sleep on.
Residence Frassinelle has a nice apartment and an excellent swimming pool, making it especially suitable for family holidays. The sea wasn't very clean, though, and there were really a lot of mosquitoes.
