Residence Mediterraneo

The location was good, close to the centre, supermarket, restaurants, and beach. We stayed five nights with our children, aged 1 and 4, and were comfortable. The room was quite dirty when we arrived, with someone’s hair, little bits of food, and dirty bed covers. We already knew about that from other reviews.

There’s a nice little kitchenette, a large clean bathroom, and parking is available. I just didn’t expect to have to rent sheets and towels, since that hasn’t happened at other residences. They hand them over at reception, and you have to make the bed yourself.

The location was convenient, close to both the centre and the beach, but that was about the only good part. We stayed one night and left, and I don’t think we’ll return. The staff were super friendly, no complaints there, but the apartment at Residence Mediterranea needs improvement. The parking space was incredibly tight, with a lot of manoeuvring needed to get in and out. At check-in they asked whether we needed sheets or towels. We were short one set of sheets, which cost €4, and it only included a mattress protector and sheet, no pillowcases. I recommend bringing your own. The sofa was extremely dirty and stained, and we had to take off the filthy headboard cushions. There was a double bed in the bedroom, but it had single mattresses. The bathroom had nothing in it. Bringing your own things is fine, but I think they could have provided a roll of paper towels and a bar of hand soap.
