We booked a stay at Hotel Unico for Aug 30 – Sep 4, but on departure day my partner was diagnosed with highly contagious viral conjunctivitis. We provided the doctor's certificate and were strongly advised not to travel, so we let the hotel know straight away and stayed home to avoid exposing other guests. The response was deeply disappointing. There was no flexibility, refund, voucher, or rebooking offered, only repeated references to Booking.com policy. In a genuine medical emergency, we expected at least some goodwill and a responsible approach to the health of guests. To us, their position felt irresponsible toward guest health and far from what we'd expect of a 5-star property.

We had fun using the free bicycles to get around the village and nearby areas, and the beach is beautiful, with shallow water that's great for families. The staff were kind, attentive, and helpful, and the new hotel is very clean with some high-tech features. The breakfast buffet is the best we've ever had, and the chef is creative and fun. Highly recommend!

I had a facial at the hotel and my skin has never felt so clean and refreshed. I can't remember the beautician's name, but she did a wonderful job. I'd gladly recommend her service.

We had a lovely time here, thanks so much. The massage in the spa was the best I've ever had, and the woman was so kind, absolutely worth it. Breakfast was tasty, and all the crew were funny and polite.

It's our second visit to this very nice hotel, and we'd be glad to come back again. The location is perfect, just 5 meters from the beach, and the rooftop swimming pool is amazing. Breakfast was good, and the staff were professional and friendly. Big thanks to bartender Anton, it was a pleasure meeting him.
