Hotel Engel Resort

We stayed for two days at this decent, standard hotel, though it’s showing its age. Breakfast was average on the first morning: the bread was stale and there wasn’t any butter. The reason for that is unclear. The next day was perfect, with plenty of variety.

The beach is beautiful, and I only went there for a walk, so I can’t say anything about the facilities. I’ve taken off a star because it isn’t maintained over the winter and there’s already some litter about. It takes away from an otherwise idyllic spot.

Just steps from the sea, this hotel has friendly, helpful staff and a truly exceptional breakfast. I’d recommend it for a relaxing holiday.

I spent two days here with my boyfriend and we had a great time. It’s a very nice hotel, close to the sea and a few kilometres from the centre. Best of all, it’s run by a kind, professional family team. A good choice if you want to unwind and get some rest.
