Hotel Laura

We were treated like family by every staff member we met. I was there with my family, including my 16 month granddaughter, and at dinner they always set a children's place for her. I've never had that happen at another hotel. Dinner was consistently delicious, with a different menu each night, small but offering a little for everyone. The beach staff were accommodating too, getting our chairs and umbrella ready as soon as we arrived. The setting is hard to beat, with spectacular sunsets and sunrises. Rooms are spacious and clean, and an ocean-view room gives you a lovely terrace to relax on with a cocktail. I'm already planning to make this my regular hotel when I visit again.

The beach here is very beautiful, but the rooms are below what I'd expect from a four-star hotel and need renovation. The wallpaper is coming off, there is mold, and the bathroom is in particularly poor shape. Breakfast didn't include a hot buffet.

We spent a week here in mid-September 2024, and the location is beautiful. The rooms are fairly spacious, with balconies and views of the beach. The bathroom had no shelf or hooks for hanging sleepwear, and adjusting the shower was difficult. Breakfast was rather dull, and the coffee from the malfunctioning machine was not good. We were also quite disappointed by the restaurant food, which felt unoriginal and boring.

The beach and its views are breathtaking, and the restaurant food and service were excellent. Room service was great too. The rooms are a good size, with the amenities well organized.
