Intercamping Apollo

We were hoping to return this year as a group of four or five families, but the long-time campers apparently didn’t want us back. Maybe people as sunny as us aren’t a good fit, or maybe too many older guests want to rest. If that’s the case, they should choose another kind of place instead of a camping holiday. I’m disappointed that Rita, the owner of the campsite, kept us hanging until now without ever just saying she didn’t want our group. Anyway, we’ll still go on vacation. Apollo isn’t the only option, there are plenty of others. We’ll give our money to somewhere else, but we’ll be around. Those who know us will follow us 😂😂😂😂😂

The little restaurant deserves a mention, with its varied, delicate dishes at very reasonable prices. Chef Angela’s Mediterranean cooking was delicious and much appreciated. My wife and I spent two weeks here, staying in a bungalow that was clean, welcoming, and had everything we needed. The whole place had a friendly, courteous feel, and the owners were always on hand to sort out any problems. I’ll definitely recommend it to my friends.

The owner, Giuseppe, and his staff were genuinely welcoming. Our bungalow was recently renovated and a real find for the price. It had a fully equipped kitchen with a TV, another TV in the main bedroom, and a partitioned smaller room for the kids. The bathroom shower was spacious, and there was a table and chair outside to relax. The campsite is 150 meters from the Paestum sea, and check-in starts at 12:00, earlier than I’d expect at other campsites. The fenced parking felt secure, and even when we got back late, the night guard was alert and let us in. There’s a bar and restaurant at reasonable prices, and the affiliated beach club is 150 meters away, reached by a pleasant walk past little shops. We were here with family, and the value for money was five stars.
