Why were we seated at breakfast in the aisle, apparently as second-tier guests, while half the tables in much better spots sat unused? The odd rules and rude lack of discretion in applying them are baffling. Bar and lido purchases can only be charged to the room or paid in cash. Why not accept cards? Beach towels also require cash. How much risk could there be in providing them free?

We especially loved the walk through the trees to the beach. The hotel has a private beach area with food and drink, and our chairs and umbrella were there to use. It was beautiful and relaxing. During our two nights at Hotel Le Palme - Capaccio Paestum, the room was clean and comfortable, the hotel was quiet, and the bar area was nice. Dinner was wonderful both nights, and breakfast had lots of options. We'd visited the Greek Archeological Park before arriving. Highly recommend.

The staff were welcoming and professional, and the hotel has a fantastic private beach with full service. My room could use an update, though. It felt quite dated.

We had a wonderful week at Hotel Le Palme. The pool was just right, and the beach was an easy stroll away, with a buggy available if you prefer a ride. The food was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. Paestum itself is beautiful and full of history, which makes this a fantastic place to stay when visiting.

The dinners were tasty, and the portions were usually more than we could finish. Lunch at the beach bar had a good range of choices, too. Getting to the lovely beach and bar only takes a short walk through the pines, and as you'd expect in Italy, everything was wonderfully clean and well kept. The hotel is very well equipped, with super attentive staff. Some friends had food intolerances, and the hotel team and chef handled them magnificently. Highly recommended.
