The peaceful countryside and friendly people make this a lovely place to get away from city life. Our room and bathroom were clean, and after a hot shower it was great to step outside and smell the fresh grass and trees. I could really forget about the city here. One thing to plan around: breakfast begins at 8 a.m., so you’ll miss it if you have to leave early.

Luca, the owner, was professional, very helpful, and full of suggestions for places to see, restaurants, and beaches. The rooms are kept clean and tidy, with an Arte Povera style. We visited in the first week of September and found it peaceful, with excellent, very helpful staff and extraordinary food served in generous portions. There are public and private beaches nearby, where you can rent umbrellas and loungers or bring your own. We were completely satisfied.

We spent a relaxing week here, with a gorgeous pool to unwind beside and comfortable rooms that still have a Tuscan feel. The food was fresh, excellent, and served in generous portions, with the chef making especially good traditional Tuscan dishes. Dining room staff were consistently helpful and professional, and the owners were available whenever guests needed them.
