Agriturismo La Chiusa di Nanni

Thank you to the lovely, friendly hosts. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the very clean rooms to the beautiful surroundings.

We stayed in the Tosca apartment, which suited our family of four perfectly. It was well furnished and had all the comforts we needed. The spectacular garden and lovely hot tub were a bonus, especially for my daughter. This really is a beautiful farmhouse near the royal villa of Marlia. The owners were attentive and very helpful. Full marks!

We had a wonderful, restful stay at Mimi's house in Tuscany. The owners are very kind and attentive, and although they’re often around while renovating one of the apartments, the work wasn’t noisy or disruptive. You can see how much care they put into things, especially the big garden that every guest can enjoy. It’s a little walk from the apartment rather than right outside, but the garden is beautifully laid out, with lots of room, shady places to sit, and a peaceful feel. Take a tray along if you want to eat or have coffee there. It’s worth the short walk. The apartment was very clean and thoughtfully equipped with window screens and fans for hot weather. A few small things to know: there isn’t much crockery, so we ran the dishwasher more often, and there’s no bin inside, so you need to take the trash out right away. The shower temperature sometimes fluctuated too. Those minor drawbacks didn’t change how much we enjoyed it. It’s a lovely place to relax and enjoy nature, and we’d be happy to return.

The dinner Franco and Virginia made with local produce was divine, definitely don’t miss it. The agriturismo is well kept, with a lovely garden, and the hosts were attentive and helpful. It’s good value for money and sits in the Tuscan hills near Lucca, making a great starting point for hikes.
