The villa is in a quiet spot and has a very welcoming pool, but our stay had some serious problems. Two children got ear infections after three days, and finding a local doctor was difficult. Even at the hospital, apparently nobody spoke English. Then three more children got ear infections before we left, and we had to go straight to the doctor after arriving back in the UK. There are aggressive mosquitoes too, which is why we didn't want to leave the windows open at night. I believe there's a fishing lake nearby, which may not help. The owner didn't tell us when we arrived that air conditioning use was limited. For the last two days, he switched it off at 10 pm while the house was still hot, then turned it on again at 5 am when it was cold, even though we'd already cut back earlier in the week. My friend texted him, but he didn't respond. It wasn't fully air-conditioned, and for what we paid, they could easily have left it on for two more days. We were only there for a week, thankfully. This wasn't our first choice, and we only picked it because we had a week to find somewhere else for 11 people. We won't rent it again. Not bad, but there are definitely better places.
