Hilde was very friendly and helpful during our two-week stay. The house felt a bit rustic, and the pool seemed small for two couples and four children. Its location was ideal for beaches and swimming facilities, and for visiting Pisa, Florence, and the Cinque Terre. Shops are nearby. The outdoor layout made it awkward to get easily between the terrace and pool. The owner's dogs barked, and the pool water quality was hard on our hair and swimsuits.

The owner is a very kind, attentive woman who lives next door and is always available. The villa is very spacious, with an outdoor dining area, and is well suited to at least six people. The pool is small but adequate, and Lucca is very close. I stayed for 10 days in August and would definitely recommend it. The value for money is good too.

The landlady was incredibly nice and friendly, and the location is fantastic. Everything was clean and fresh, with a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely garden. The dogs were sweet but not a nuisance. The only little improvement would be air conditioning in one of the bedrooms, though it didn’t matter much.
