We called to book two rooms and were asked to confirm right away so they could hold them and avoid overbooking. We got written confirmation on WhatsApp. But when we arrived, the owner said there had been a mix-up: only one room was available, and she could offer the other at a different property. Since she hadn’t reserved it, someone else had booked it. We were told the other reservation had been prepaid, while we were paying at the property, but that’s no excuse. This was unfair and even rude. Keep your reservation! We found another hotel immediately instead.

We left without staying after the manager told us one of our two phone-booked rooms was unavailable, though she said the other could be found at a property farther away. When we asked how this had happened, she said it had been booked on Booking at midnight and that she couldn't do anything because we hadn't paid. But we'd been told on the phone that payment could be made at check-in. There was no apology, just an arrogant, presumptuous response. The place may be nice, but the rudeness put us off completely. Absolutely not recommended.

A peaceful spot just a short walk from the center and close to the sea, with crystal-clear water. The staff were friendly and capable, and breakfast had a generous variety to suit different needs. The rooms and kitchenette were cleaned every day, including fresh towels. Elegant, clean, and thoughtful about the details. Highly recommended.

We ended up without anywhere to sleep on a Saturday in June and had to find another place ourselves. I had paid in advance through Booking.com, but the owner contacted me to say there was no room, while I also received a booking confirmation from the B&B management followed by a message saying they were full. I called to point out that if they couldn't host us, they shouldn't have confirmed the reservation, since Booking.com wouldn't refund the payment. She didn't listen. I eventually got my money back only after filing complaints with Booking.com and PayPal, and Booking refunded me without extra compensation. Given the Consumer Code and case law say a property is responsible for arranging alternative accommodation at its own expense in an overbooking situation, I don't think it was entirely right to confirm us and then leave us stranded.
