A few days after we got home, the agency charged us €150 for supposedly breaking the umbrella. We never touched it, and they offered no proof. They said the cleaning staff had noticed it, though I don't know why they would have opened it. I contacted Booking.com, which then kept us waiting for a receipt for the repair. Even after three months, I still hadn't received one. I had to call Booking.com twice last week before the agency finally told them what it had spent. We were in the studio from April 21st to 26th, 2023. Check-in was at the agency, and nobody came with us to the apartment, but we found our own way there. It was very dirty when we arrived, as if nobody had been inside since October. I attached a photo. We spent most days out on Elba, leaving early and getting back late, so we mainly used the place for meals, washing, and sleeping. April was springlike and sunny but very windy, so we never considered eating on the terrace or even touching the umbrella.

Sorry, but this place really didn't work for us. The apartment wasn't clean, the mattress was old and uncomfortable, and there were mosquitoes everywhere. Getting in and out was awkward, and the facilities weren't well maintained. I can't recommend it.

The kitchen was well stocked, and the refrigerator was excellent. We stayed in the studio, about a five-minute walk from the lovely terrace and sea view. The shower kept switching between two minutes of hot water and two minutes of ice-cold water. With no air conditioning or mosquito screens, we had to fight mosquitoes every night. Bring repellent.

The apartments could be much more welcoming, but plants left to grow freely almost block the entrance. We also slept badly during our three nights because there were so many mosquitoes. There’s no air conditioning or mosquito screens. I messaged the agency the morning after we arrived to explain and ask for a solution. They said they’d get back to me, but never did.

The check-in was the slowest I've ever experienced, and I wouldn't use this agency again. At the Norsi studio, there were mosquitoes everywhere and no window screens, so airing the place out was impossible, partly because of where it is. Bring repellent and mosquito coils. The dishes were few and dated, and there wasn't a pillow for the first night. The inside and outside areas also weren't very clean.
