We were three people with three motorcycles during the last week of August. The apartments are in a strategic spot on Naregno beach, and the rooms were as described. Nada, his partner, and her daughter Azzurra were both incredibly friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. When the refrigerator gave us trouble, Nada sorted it out quickly, and we’re grateful for that. Our experience with the owner and his brother, who owns the neighboring hotel, was much less pleasant and put us off staying in their apartments. We argued with the owner about our speed on the access path. We accepted that, in his view, we’d been going too fast for the private road, but guests who pay still deserve to be treated properly. I’m a hotelier too, so I know how guests should be treated, and this wasn’t it. The property asks drivers to slow down and moderate their speed on the path, as shown in the photos. It doesn’t say to drive at 1 km/h, and there’s no posted speed limit, so drivers are left to judge an appropriate pace themselves.

We felt completely at ease here. The room was spotless every day and clearly had been renovated recently. There’s no bidet in the bathroom, but the shower is very spacious, and the balcony looks out over thick greenery. The breakfast space and pool are inviting and carefully kept, surrounded by plants and decorations with Elba’s green hills behind them. Azzurra, Nada, and Alessandro were wonderful hosts: thoughtful, punctual, attentive, kind, and always ready with advice or a friendly chat. Thanks for everything, and warm regards from Varese!

We’ve been staying at B&B Alex for years, and it’s always felt like home. The welcome is warm, and the house is 200 meters from the beach. There’s a pool just 50 meters away, and you can barbecue too. We could spend our holiday peacefully and do as we pleased. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

The lush pine forest makes for a peaceful stay, and the sea is just over 100 meters away, with well-equipped beaches and clear water. It was easy to enjoy a swim whenever we wanted. Azzurra and Alex also gave us helpful tips for beaches, lovely coves, and good restaurants. At B&B Alex in Naregno, our room was comfortable and very clean. Each morning there was a generous, varied breakfast buffet, with excellent homemade cakes, coffee, and cappuccino. Housekeeping was regular, the pool was lovely, and the hospitality felt genuine. We’ll return and hope to find everything even more beautiful. Highly recommended: Elba Island, Capoliveri, Naregno, and B&B Alex.

I had a great time with the diving group at Centro Sub Nettuno in Como. The managers were friendly and very helpful, and the garden area was spacious.
