I’ve been coming back for more than five years and absolutely love this campsite. It has the genuine, simple feel I look for when visiting Italy and Elba. The family running it are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and do everything they can to make the stay pleasant. The restaurant has good food at fair prices, and there are everyday essentials too, including coffee and a mini market with fresh bread. The facilities are well looked after, and the location is hard to beat, with several beaches within walking distance.

The pitches sit beneath tall trees that provide welcome shade when summer temperatures climb. The campsite is peaceful, with a brilliant location just 500 meters from the Beautiful Lacona Beach, plus a swimming pool and lots of activities for kids both day and night. Staff are friendly, very service minded, and work hard from Sunrise to Sunset, literally. One of the nicest camping sites on Elba. Book your ferry tickets to and from Elba early, as they often sell out. A visit to camping Lacona is highly recommended.

We enjoyed wonderful peace and quiet, helped by the low number of guests at this time of year. There are lovely walks along marked trails through the vegetation, with fantastic sea views, and the mobile home made a great base for them. It was spacious, well furnished, and clean, in a shaded spot near the services. The staff were kind and ready to help with any request. Highly recommended.
