The apartment was genuinely interesting, and roomy too. We had unit no. 4, with a big patio and a sea view, in a great spot about 300m from the beach. The beach itself, I have to say, wasn't anything special.

There isn't a microwave, though the house otherwise has what you need for a happy holiday. The terrace facing the sea has tables and chairs for meals. At mealtimes, some clever ants may show up if what you're cooking smells tempting. No poison spray is needed: a little noise on the steel cooktop makes them disappear quickly. If you're less patient, put a few drops of liquid dish salt along the grill grate where they come and go with a clanking sound. You won't see them again for several days. Apartment no. 3 at Casa Roberta is directly across from the Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grazie. The sanctuary, setting, and sea view are all splendid, and Simone is wonderful, kind, discreet, thoughtful, and efficient. It's a peaceful place to be close to nature and take in its beauty. There's a small beach and reef about 50 meters away for anyone who isn't after fancy beaches, plus a restaurant and diving center. One more tip: if you're going to Capoliveri for fun or an evening in the crowds, Simone lets guests park for free in his designated area just steps from the center. That's a real help, since parking in Capoliveri isn't easy. Happy holidays, everyone.

The terrace has a lovely view of the sea. This comfortable house sleeps up to 5 people, and you can walk to the beach. A great spot if peace and quiet are what you're looking for.

From the terrace, you can see the bay and the nearby church, which has a painting by a student of Michelangelo. There's a beach bar and a good restaurant, while charming Capoliveri is nearby. The beach is about 300 meters away, and it's a great place for a holiday.
