Grandanglol worked perfectly as a starting point for our outings. It's close to the mountain bike routes and hiking trails, and not too far from the beach, while staying away from the busy crowds and sheltered from the weather. We had an amazing weekend. The apartment was lovely, with good mountain views from our private terrace, and our hosts were kind, attentive, helpful, and informative.

Aurora & Ralph were wonderful hosts, always ready with advice on where to go around busy Elba. Their tips led us to some really good swimming spots and dinner places away from the tourist crowds :-) Their lovely house has a fantastic view across Elba, and the funny animals were a treat, especially Pepe the killer ;-) The outdoor kitchen for barbecues is brilliant. We'll be back as soon as we can.

Our three nights at Aurora and Ralph's place were perfect. The hosts were friendly and impeccable, and had great suggestions for nearby beaches and restaurants. It's a truly worthwhile island, and we'll come back for a longer holiday. Highly recommended.

The countryside greenery and those fabulous geese make this place especially lovely. The owners welcome you so warmly and courteously, you feel at home straight away. They’re always happy to help and have great suggestions for which beaches to visit. My heartfelt compliments, I’d recommend staying here.

We had a good stay for two nights, and the owners were friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, and it was well placed for getting to Capoliveri’s center and the beaches. The outside could use some attention. Breakfast was the weak spot for us: coffee or cappuccino made with long-life milk, plus frozen croissants. It could definitely be better.
