Hotel Anfora

The location was the one good thing. The rooms were small, with a tiny closet, and the room service staff were rude and inappropriate from the start. At dinner, people were already complaining, and it didn't take long to see why. The buffet was practically nonexistent, with black salad that looked rotten for days and other food just as bad, which nobody wanted. Every dish was inedible, either raw or overcooked, whether fish, meat, or pasta. The sides were always potatoes and garlic piled on as if there were no tomorrow. The Bindi dessert was inedible, and the fruit was almost completely unripe. Is this really a 3-star place? I've stayed at 2-star places with lunches and dinners fit for a 3-star. There's no point offering three first courses and three main courses if they can't even cook a simple pasta dish. I wonder if they notice how many plates come back untouched. During our week, nobody finished everything, and everyone was unhappy. Never again, and definitely avoid it.

We stayed for about 3 days on half board, and the nearby beaches made it a great spot to relax. The staff gave us a warm, friendly welcome, and the menu and food were excellent. Some of the other guests we shared the place with were rude and ill-mannered, which left us disappointed. Nothing more to add. One thing first: if you're haughty and unfriendly, find somewhere that suits your appointments.

The place is beautiful, well organized, and very clean, with excellent food and friendly, professional staff. My family and I had a wonderful stay in the lovely setting of Naregno bay, Capoliveri. Lucia, the owner, and her wonderful family welcomed us with such courtesy and elegance. She's extremely professional, and, like the locals, knows better than anyone where to go to the beach depending on the wind. We'll see you next year, dear ❤️

The hotel feels old and generally isn't very clean. The rooms are cramped, service is terrible, and dinner takes so long you can miss the buses to Capoliveri. The dining room service is especially bad. Location aside, it's poor all around and I really don't recommend it.
