Top location, and the bar prices were better than at other beaches. The family-run apartments are simply furnished but functional, and ours had no damage. The beds were perfect and cleaning was adequate. They welcome dogs without any fuss, which you can't always count on. The staff were always available when we needed something, and Adriano the lifeguard was especially friendly and helpful. The beach services, including pedal boats and canoes, are worth trying. Recommended for families, couples, and groups of friends.

APARTMENT 15. This review is only about the apartment where I stayed for a week in June 2022. It sleeps five, but with four of us, two adults and two children, it already felt a little cramped. We made do, though. The front door and a window in the smaller bedroom were the only sources of natural light. At the entrance, the living room is taken up by a table for four and the refrigerator. The master bedroom includes a smaller room with a single bed, and the spaces are quite narrow. There’s one split air conditioning unit there, and the second is in the corridor. The kitchen is at the end of the hall, with no window to let out cooking heat or smells. A bunk bed and wardrobe sit in the narrow, windowless hallway leading to the bathroom. The bathroom itself has no window, but there’s enough room for the sink and shower. Outside is a small terrace with a table, two chairs, a drying rack, and not much else. The main advantage is how close the beach is, just 20 meters away. We liked the apartment because we can adapt, though a bigger place for four rather than five would have suited us better. The owners are friendly, helpful, and always available. A week cost €590. I’d been away from Elba for a few years, so I can’t say whether that matches prices on the island.

The sunset view from the beach area is lovely, and having a bar right there is great. It’s a charming hotel with all the amenities, and the owners were kind and helpful. We’ll definitely return.

You’ll need a car here since there aren’t convenience stores or restaurants nearby. There’s free parking on site, but the climb is steep, so I wouldn’t recommend bringing a large vehicle. We booked an apartment at the last minute through Booking.com. It’s very close to the beach and has a kitchen and the essentials for a comfortable stay. You can rent linen for an extra fee, and pets stay without an additional charge.
