Villa Moira 2-rooms apartment a few steps away from Innamorata beach-Casa Zullo B4

We had to find the house ourselves because there were no signs, and the owner never showed up. Villa Moira lacked what you’d expect in a home, including air conditioning and mosquito nets. The Wi-Fi around there was very weak, and the parking signs were sparse. If you want a bad experience on this beautiful island, go there. Ciao.

Pessima esperienza. They advertise the apartment for four, but there’s only enough space for two, and just two chairs in the kitchen. With four people, you have to eat outside. The kitchen was nearly empty, apart from a couple of pans in such awful condition that we ended up buying one at the coop. The place had none of the basics: no oil, salt, napkins, toilet paper, soap, hair dryer, not even bin liners. The kitchen is badly laid out, with a shelf at head height that makes tidying up difficult. On top of that, the owner was rude and unprofessional. She told us bluntly that we were second-class customers because she was busy with another business, a b&b. If I could, I’d give it zero stars. Inqualificabili.

Elba is a beautiful island, but all these hassles meant we didn’t enjoy our stay at all. The apartment was hot, with no air conditioning, and full of mosquitoes and ants. The TV didn’t work, and there was no Wi-Fi. The beach was only 150 meters away, but reaching it took a lot of effort, especially the way back up two very steep hills. Using the outdoor shower meant going down to where other condominium members were staying, and the same applied to the barbecue. We always had to drive to get around because the shuttle hardly ever came.

The area is quiet and there’s parking, but the apartment I stayed in needs a few repairs. The toilet seat was loose and the wrong size, the shower slider needs fixing, and the flush doesn’t work properly, so you have to use a bucket. Taking care of these small but necessary jobs would make a stay much more comfortable. Best regards.
