Villetta La Vela

Being able to walk to the nearby beach was a real plus, and it’s well serviced. But the apartment had too many problems for the price. The kitchen is new, though the dishwasher didn’t work properly; there was a safe but no key, so it was unusable. Downstairs, the construction site wasn’t pleasant to look at. We had to buy everything for eating and cleaning, including detergent. The owner said guests are expected to bring those things, but I’d never had to do that before. There weren’t even tablecloths, and I’ve never encountered dishes this poor in quality. The dining area had no curtain at all and turned into a 25-degree heat zone despite the air conditioning, to the point that we got sick. With no shutters, we were awake by 6:00. It hardly felt like a break from work. The bathroom had nowhere to put the toilet paper, and there was no outside gate. The first impression had been positive, but the faults started showing once we were living there. When the owners charge guests, the service should be good, and that wasn’t our experience. Please take another look at the price.
