Villino Innamorata

We spent two weeks here in July 2021, and for three of us, 1800 euros didn’t feel worth it. They charge for the sea view and beach access, and I also heard unhappy neighbors say the same. At first glance everything looks clean and perfect, but there are plenty of problems. The kitchen is tucked into a narrow, dark hallway behind a door, with very dated furniture. It looks clean until you notice hair and food scraps in the corners. Many lights don’t work, and the huge TV gets no signal. The WiFi didn’t work either. All the window glass is badly fogged. The bathroom was the last straw, and even after I reported it, nothing was done. The toilet was dirty yellow and had sewage backing up. The shower is level with the floor and has a plastic curtain. The mattresses are best left unexamined.

The sea is just a two-minute walk through the internal courtyard, and the area is quiet and pleasant. I’ve stayed here two years in a row, in a two-room apartment each time, and was happy both visits. It works well for couples and families with children of any age. You’ll need a car to get to the various towns, but it’s worth it. Il Conte Domingo, an excellent seafood restaurant, is right on Innamorata Beach. I recommend going in the evening for an unforgettable sunset.

The mattresses were on the firm side, but it was good value for money. The hosts were friendly, and the place was clean with everything you need. The sea view is beautiful. I’d happily come back and recommend it.

The owners are nice, but they should warn guests beforehand about the diesel smell from the basement boiler. The ground-floor home has a bathroom with no window opening to the outside. The villa and setting are beautiful, though access to the sea is a bit awkward, with a climb that’s too steep. Prices are medium to high.
