We stayed as a couple at the end of July 2020, and the view and setting in nature were captivating. Our apartment had all the comforts we needed, and having the terrace to ourselves for breakfast at dawn was something special. The pool was gorgeous, and parking was right outside the apartment. Claudio made us feel at home, and Manuela, Mara, Roberto, Mirko, and Idetta were just as lovely. We’ll definitely return, highly recommended.

The view takes in the Arno Valley from Capolona to Borgo a Giovi, thanks to the property's commanding position. Everything looked very well maintained, and the owners were friendly and helpful. I’ll certainly return. I can’t comment on the rooms or amenities, though. However... if your stay starts in the morning...

The peaceful Casentino countryside surrounds the property, and the wellness center is a lovely place to unwind. The apartments are comfortable and practical. Claudio and his family-run team are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The view from the top was the one thing I appreciated. The property could have potential, but it needs much better care, cleaning, and management. It was absolutely not worth what I paid, and I won’t return. Our apartment was dirty when we arrived. There were crumbs on chairs from the previous guest, coffee drips on the kitchen door, greasy fingerprints on doors and the fridge, and a filthy, greasy hood with dried food stuck to it. I reported the mess to the owner, but despite the cleaning fee, the apartment wasn’t properly cleaned. They replaced the filter after we asked, but the dried red stains, probably sauce, were still there. There was no air conditioning, and the apartment got very hot during the day. There were no mosquito nets, so insects got inside. We were four people sharing two rooms, but there was just one fan, and it was broken until we asked for a replacement. There were no curtains or bedside reading lamps either. The only TV was in the kitchen and didn’t work. We thought it might just need batteries, but the remote was broken. The owner said we could use the buttons on the TV itself, which meant getting up from the couch to change channels. On Sunday, the day I arrived, people from outside the residence also came and gathered around the pool as if it were public, even though guests pay for privacy. It was too crowded, and together with the poor hygiene, it didn’t feel like a safe arrangement, especially during COVID.
