We enjoyed our stay, even with a few problems in the room. It was disappointing, quite dark, and there was some noisy pump equipment outside. The location is spectacular, though. It had been several years since our last stay at this hotel, and with the amenities offered it probably costs too much. But hey, it’s Capris!

The breakfast was outstanding, with lots to choose from and everything delicious. We didn’t eat lunch or dinner here. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were attentive and ready to help with anything. It’s a beautiful, quiet setting with incredible views throughout the hotel, away from the bustle of Capri town. Fantastic place. AMAZING, and I’d definitely recommend it. Hope to come back one day!

We spent two nights at Casa Morgano on our baby-moon in Capri. The setting was good, far enough from the hectic tourist areas to be quiet but not too far off the path. Service was impeccable, and the hotel arranged whatever we needed, including ferry tickets and luggage transfer. We also loved the junior suite’s Jacuzzi tub, with its great bubbles and hot water. The bed wasn’t very comfortable for a five-star hotel. We also couldn’t use the room AC. Staff said it wasn’t high season and temperatures weren’t expected to be too high during the day or night. The room was very well insulated and got much hotter than we expected, so we slept with the door open all night to get some cool, fresh air. We enjoyed the stay, but by American standards we wouldn’t call it five star, probably closer to four.

One thing to plan for: Casa Morgano is in Capri’s pedestrian-only area. You’ll need to arrange to have your bags collected at the port or, like us, roll them through the village. We still had a wonderful stay. The hotel was quiet and uncrowded, with a great view. Service was very good, especially from Vincenzo. Dinner isn’t served in the evening, so you’re encouraged to find one of the many local restaurants, though a small choice of room service meals is available. Breakfast is a simple buffet on the patio, with a view to enjoy.

We were treated like gold, and the hotel was accommodating and spotlessly clean. The rooms are beautiful, and the pools are to die for. It’s right by the main shopping area but stays so quiet. We loved the place, and we’ll be back. Thanks for such a fabulous stay, we’re so grateful!
