La Casa del Mugnaio Bed and Breakfast

Our group of four stopped here to split up a motorcycle trip and got to enjoy a lovely early summer evening. The B&B is simple, but it’s kept with real care and the cleanliness is impeccable. Breakfast was straightforward but had everything we needed. The owner was warm, very helpful, and knew the area well enough to give us good tips for getting around. Thanks from the gatecrashers 😉, and we’d recommend it.

The place is spotless, and everything works as it should, right down to the shower and bathroom. We had a whole apartment, tastefully furnished and equipped with everything we needed, not just a basic room. It’s the kind of B&B you hope to find. The photos say a lot. The setting along the provincial road is convenient, and the center of Capriata is only a short walk away. It’s worth stopping there for a good meal. The wider area has plenty to explore and, for scenery and tradition, can hold its own against better-known places like the Langhe. A walk through the fields at sunset or early in the morning is well worth taking.

A comfortable place to stop and rest while travelling. The house has been put together with attention to detail, and breakfast was perfect, with nothing missing. Just two small drawbacks: there’s no air conditioning, and it’s close to a road. Still, I’d recommend it.

The apartment was stylish, lacy, and very clean, with an atmosphere that reminded me of visiting an Italian grandmother. But it was on a swamp and near a road, so I didn’t sleep well with the loud frogs and cars making noise early in the morning.
