We stayed ten days and are already looking forward to a longer visit next time. The owner ran a restaurant for 35 years, and it shows in her breakfasts. They’re an experience in themselves, and she’s a joy to deal with. The house sits among vineyards in a very peaceful spot, with majestic mountain views. The place is very clean and cleaned daily, which is included in the price. There’s plenty of parking, two supermarkets nearby, a laundromat, and some very decent restaurants and pubs in Caprino. A popular restaurant next to the building is now rented out by the Rama Relais owner, so book ahead. The hiker and biker trail runs right by the property, so you can start a beautiful walk or ride through the countryside from there. It connects to many routes with different levels of difficulty, from easy flat trails to expert ones. It’s also well placed for day trips to Garda, about 15 minutes away, Bardolino, Lazise, Sirmione, Torri del Benaco, and Punta San Viglio, all worth seeing. The beaches in Garda and farther north are very good. There are only three rooms, so reserve well in advance.

The place itself is so relaxing, and we’re planning to stay again. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a great view. Anna was an exceptionally friendly host, and her mama is a wonderful cook. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit, juices, cakes, and different cheeses and ham. It’s hard to think of anything missing. A hidden gem!

A real insider tip, with rooms that are extremely spacious and quiet. If you love food, try the freshly cooked Italian specialties at the Trattoria. Amazing!

We spent a week at Rama Relais and felt very comfortable there. The rooms were spacious, nicely furnished, clean, and quiet, and breakfast had plenty of variety and tasted great. Bardolino and Garda are about 15-20 away. After the bustle around Lake Garda, it was lovely to return to the relaxed little place of Caprese Veronese. Highly recommended!

A lovely spot among vineyards, with clean, nice rooms and a very friendly owner. There’s a good restaurant right next door, open five days a week except Sunday and Monday, as of May 2024.
