Barbusi is a quiet little hamlet in the municipality of Carbonia, and a great base for exploring the whole southwest of Sardinia. It has a small market, a club, a church right beside the apartment, and a bakery run by Andrea’s family that makes EXCELLENT bread. The house was very clean and had air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a TV, kitchen utensils, and a huge terrace. We loved eating outside there in the evenings and enjoying the cool air. Andrea and his family took such good care of us over our 15 days with them. One morning Andrea’s dad brought us black figs and pears... AMAZING!! Andrea also suggested beaches and restaurants, and kept us updated on the wind in real time so we could pick the best beach each day. Invaluable! The house was in an excellent location and the hospitality made it a unique experience. Highly recommended!!!

Andrea and her family are really nice, and they also run a bakery with excellent products. The apartment was great, with everything you need.
