Albergo Ristorante Pizzeria Bellavista

Lunch was just what we hoped for: good pasta, salad, homemade dessert and coffee. The atmosphere is cozy, and the tables by the window have a spectacular view. Everything felt perfect as long as you’re not expecting more than a lovely homemade meal with a view.

The only real plus was the lake view, and that has nothing to do with the hotel. The rooms are tiny, cramped, old, and in need of renovation, with no ventilation. There’s no sound insulation either, and sleeping was impossible. Until 3 a.m., even after the cafe had closed, we could hear what sounded like chairs being dragged and dishes rattling downstairs. Our booking showed the wrong number of guests, so before paying we contacted the hotel, explained how many of us there were, and asked if the room would work. They said it was fine as long as we didn’t mind the children sharing our bed. We paid based on that answer. When we arrived, the administrator shouted that the room wasn’t suitable, and said we had to pay for another one or leave without a refund. They denied what they’d told us earlier and wouldn’t listen. A cook from the restaurant even came out and shouted too. The administrator was tactless and seemed completely unbalanced, constantly yelling. The staff didn’t care about their guests. I’ve never met such rude people, and hope I don’t again. I believe life has a way of coming back around, and that deceiving people won’t go without consequences.

The food was unbelievably tasty and felt homemade, and the service was amazing. I’d recommend it to anyone!

Really good traditional food, and the prices aren’t high. Loved it 😋
