Hotel Paola

The walls are really thin, so bring good earplugs for sleeping. The breakfast was amazing, especially the homemade jams, and we also had a really good dinner there. The hosts were extremely nice, and we enjoyed our stay. Our room terrace had absolutely amazing ocean views. The room and building look a little old at first, but everything was in good condition and very clean.

We found a few little beaches within walking distance, quieter than the main ones. There's a bus that passes three times a day if you don't bring a car to the island, and the owner kindly drove me to the beach and the ferry. The food was amazing and freshly made, with incredible bay views from the restaurant. It's a beautiful family-run hotel. Thanks to everyone at hotel Paola. I'd recommend it for a lovely break.

You'll enjoy meeting and talking with the Vitiello family, who run the place. The food was excellent, and there was a good wine selection. The rooms were beautiful and clean, the staff made us feel at home, and the view was magnificent. Probably the most beautiful hotel on Saint Peter Island. A must in Carloforte!

I only ate at the restaurant. The rest of the menu was excellent too, but try the swordfish marinated in orange. Amazing.
