Hotel Villa Pimpina

We were warmly welcomed by Giusy, and Matilde checked us in, gave us a map of then town, and recommended a restaurant for dinner. The hotel is in the centre of Caloforte, a fishing town on Isola di San Pietro (Saint Peter's Island), 7 kilometres off Sardinia's south western coast. We were holidaying in south west Sardinia from the U.K. in mid June 2022, and reached the island on a 30 minute Ferry from Casaletta. There's parking nearby on the road alongside the hotel. Our first-floor double room was spacious, bright, comfortable, clean, well decorated, and had good storage, AC, good wifi, and a brilliant bathroom. There was a lift, too, and a generous outside area adjoining the room with a table and chairs. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, well ventilated, clean, and has a nice atmosphere. Breakfast offered a good range of fruit, juices, sweet and savoury options, served downstairs or in the roof garden. We ate downstairs, then went up to see the beautiful garden with grass, plants, fruit trees, and wildlife. We saw 2 tortoise. The books, furniture, wall paintings, decor, and other details are adorable, and the whole place feels beautiful and high quality. Check out was quick. Thanks to Matilde for being a great host. I strongly recommend staying at least 2 nights to enjoy the accommodation and explore Carloforte.
