We made good use of the modern kitchen for some of our meals, and the town was an easy walk away. The rooms were spacious, beautifully furnished, and very clean. Air conditioning kept the daytime comfortable, too. We spent a week here and would strongly recommend it for a stay in magnificent Carloforte.

It could have been a great few days, but I found the stay irritating. The bedding felt cold and damp, the recycling instructions were out of date, and at first there was no hot water.

The house was a lovely base for walks around the picturesque village of Carloforte and trips to the beautiful nearby beaches. I organized a yoga retreat there for 12 people, and it turned into a wonderful experience. Alessandra and her assistant Francesca responded promptly whenever we needed something and helped make the stay enjoyable for everyone. Many thanks to them both.

Alessandra, who looks after the house, is capable, helpful, and consistently kind. The place itself is charming, with an elegant but simple feel and care put into every detail. We had a perfect holiday. It's the most beautiful accommodation I've seen in Carloforte so far.

We'd hoped to find the calm and familiarity we remembered from our first visit to Carloforte many years ago, and this apartment made our return in August fantastic. The hosts were kind and friendly, always there if we needed them. From the terrace, the sea's magnificent colors are a view you don't tire of. The apartment is on the first floor of a beautiful villa, just a few minutes' drive from town. It's splendid, elegantly furnished, carefully maintained, and has every comfort. Along with the emerald waters, fine sandy beaches, and the island's magical atmosphere, it made for a unique, unforgettable holiday. Annamaria and Franco
