Residenza Cuntin

A lovely, simple place close to the city centre, with a nice host.

The Cuntin residence was a good base for getting around, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. There’s parking near the accommodation if you arrive by car. We enjoyed walking through town to take in its picturesque views. The island is enchanting, with white beaches and crystal-clear water. Using a map, the old-fashioned way, we explored the coast from the lighthouse to the tuna factory and also walked around the old salt pans. The locals were friendly too. I recommend both the island and the residence.

I can’t really comment on the place itself. I only went in and out to put my things down. When I came back after lunch, they said there was a strong smell from my feet and that it wasn’t good. My lady said she couldn’t smell anything. This is the second time something like this has happened to me in Sardinia. The bald professor with glasses threatened to report me, saying he was a former Carabinieri marshal and that I’d find his former colleagues at the port, where they’d make me pay by filing a complaint. I left without asking for my money back. I paid €200 without using the website, even though I didn’t want a room. The place is run by a teacher from some school. I’m happy to go back. As for the rest, I’m waiting for the former Carabinieri marshal’s threats, where he grabbed me at the port.

We stayed at the Cuntin residence, at I Legni, for a week from September 5th to 12th, 2025. The owner was available whenever we needed anything, and everything was perfect. It’s close to the center and supermarkets, with a sandy beach only a few minutes away by car.
