We booked this B&B on a whim and ended up really glad we did. The staff made us feel very welcome, and the quiet rustic setting looks out over olive groves and vineyards. A lovely place to get away from the city for a while. We’ll come back when we’re nearby.

The breakfast alone was a treat, with homemade bread and cakes fresh from the oven. I’m usually trying to skip sweets, but these were so good I was happy to make an exception. I’d accidentally booked my arrival a day early, and they sorted out a room right away without any fuss. This estate is a real hidden gem, and I had a wonderful two nights here. 😁

Lorenzo is a certified guide who’s passionate about art, and the owners can arrange guided tours. The B&B sits in the hills within reach of Florence, with a calm, welcoming feel. The food is very good too, and Tuscan.

The place feels enchanting, and Lorenzo’s presence is a big part of that. He’s a warm, generous host, a sublime cook, and a passionate guide whose stories pull you in. There’s his own bread, jams, oil, capers, biscuits, and cakes to enjoy. He’s much more than you might expect from a host.
